This year, Times-Union Media made National Small Business Week a month-long celebration!
Between two packed Power Up events and the high volume of entries into our inaugural Shop Local Jax contest, it’s clear that now, more than ever, local businesses are making an impact in our community.
For the first time, Times-Union Media hosted the Shop Local Jax contest, with sponsor Office Environments & Services, and gave away nearly $30,000 in digital marketing prizes!
With more than 120 local businesses submitting their stories for the contest, the team at Times-Union Media was inspired by the hard work and dedication put forth by entrepreneurs and their teams.
Because Times-Union Media truly believes that local businesses are the heartbeat of our city, the team wanted to say thank you to those who took the time to participate, and work so hard to make Jacksonville and the surrounding areas such a vibrant, unique place to live.
