How long have you worked for Times-Union Media?
Almost 19 years! October 5th this year will mark that milestone.
Why did you choose Times-Union Media?
I always enjoyed what the newspaper had to offer as a product. In fact, my first job as a young boy was delivering the paper!
What drew you to the digital marketing industry?
Being in the newspaper space for as long as I have, you really didn’t have a choice. Digital marketing has certainly changed the landscape. I love the fact that you can help a business with a specific pain or need, and do it with high efficiency, targeting and with very little waste. Digital marketing shows customers results in real-time. Plus adjustments can be made on the fly.
How are you set up for success at Times-Union Media?
The Times-Union has made the necessary investments in the right partners and continuous training that allows me and our sales division to continue to be the leader in the digital space. Beyond that, we have invested in support infrastructure such as design, development of ideas, and execution and fulfillment. Our goal is to provide our customer with the latest tactics and most innovative ideas.
What is your favorite social media platform, and why?
Facebook is my favorite social media platform because I’m a transient, and have family and friends all over the world. Facebook keeps me connected to them.
What do you enjoy most about working at Times-Union Media?
My team. We know how to work hard and play hard!
What is one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I love coaching basketball! I also really like to show off my skills as a barbecue chef!
