How long have you worked for Times-Union Media?
I have been with Times-Union Media for 9 months!
Why did you choose Times-Union Media?
I moved back to Jacksonville from the Orlando area, and I wanted to work for a company that was reputable within the community. As a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a degree in marketing, I also looked for a company that would allow me to grow and continue to build on my knowledge in advertising and marketing.
What drew you to the digital marketing industry?
I am fascinated by the technology that drives digital marketing solutions and how websites such as Google and Facebook have become major players in how people communicate and connect in today’s ever-changing world.
How are you set up for success at Times-Union Media?
We have an extensive training program, along with resources and tools that help keep our team up-to-date with the latest trends in advertising. Along with that, everyone from the top-down is always willing to help provide insight and advice.
What is your favorite social media platform, and why?
Facebook – I’ve had it the longest so most of my family and friends are connected to me through Facebook. I like that it provides an all-in-one experience by offering longer videos and text character lengths compared to the other social media sites. I also like following business and event pages to stay informed with things that I am interested in around town.
What do you enjoy most about working at Times-Union Media?
Learning from everyone on the team and working with clients to solve advertising challenges.
What is one fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I moved to Jacksonville from Chicago when I was 12.
