Recognizing high school athletes

In 2019, The Florida Times-Union launched the inaugural Best of All-First Coast Preps event to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the high school student-athletes.

This awards banquet is The Florida Times-Union’s way of saying thank you to the thousands of outstanding high school athletes, coaches, and fans who allow us to share their stories, performances and passions.

The event honors the top performers from the following Florida counties: Baker, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, and Union County; and the following Georgia counties: Camden, Charlton, Glynn, and Ware County in 19 different sports.

Awards are presented to the Outstanding Player of the Year in each sport, as well as Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, and Coach of the Year.

1st, 2nd and 3rd All-First Coast Preps athletes are invited watch the on-demand broadcast.
